Consultation has concluded

Western Bay of Plenty District Council is applying for a resource consent under the Resource Management Act. The consent will give Council the authority to carry out activites to better manage its stormwater systems in a more comprehensive manner. Council has split its District into three distinct catchments, Western, Central and Eastern. Management Plans for each the areas are being prepared.

Over the next few months Council will be updating information about stormwater in the ‘Central Catchment’. The central catchment encompasses the urban areas of Te Puna and Minden only. Omokoroa obtained a comprehensive consent in 2005.
