Students showcased their creative ideas and their hard work was celebrated at this event at the Omokoroa Boat Club.

Engagement with schools on the draft concept plan

Council presented the draft concept plan to the students at Omokoroa Point, Pahoia, Whakamarama, Te Puna and Omokoroa No. 1.

The draft concept plan is out for community feedback. Engagement ends at 4.00pm on Friday 31 January 2020.
February → April 2020

After the engagement has finished....

Collate and analyse all the feedback received.

Finalise the draft design.

Review costings.

Report back to Council for the adoption of the final concept design.
May → August 2020

Subject to Council adoption....

Manage the procurement process.

Construction (subject to budget and equipment availability) likely to begin during the winter season.
