Engagement on the draft concept design plan has concluded. The next steps are: - Go through all feedback received. - Produce a final design plan. - Council decision/ratification on the final design. Council will communicate the final decision in the coming months on our website and through local Omokoroa news channels.

Background:
Following the student design showcase event earlier this year, a draft concept design plan for the Omokoroa Domain Playground has been developed.
It is intended that the playground will complement the existing domain and esplanade areas and be a fun place for kids of all ages to play.
Proposed key features include:
Pendulum basket swing
Sand play equipment
Tension-net climbing structure
Mouse wheel
Musical equipment
Shade structures over selected play areas.
