Thank you for your feedback. Consultation has concluded.

We're increasing health premises registration fees by 10% for 2024/2025. This is to cover rising costs over the past year.

This change has been carefully considered so we can recover some of the cost of providing this activity, while recognising businesses will be feeling the pressure of increased costs in the current economic environment.

Our health inspections of campgrounds, hairdressers, mortuaries and funeral homes are to ensure the health and safety of the community when using those services. As a Council, we are also required to carry out these inspections under the Health (Registration of Premises) Regulations 1966.
